I'm HOME!!
Christmas SpiritedI am finally home from camp with Sparkles and it was sooo much fun but I am so happy to be home! I peed in the woods! Yea, i know, weird, but I just had to throw that out there. So when I got home I went to central park and had a lovely picnic on Sheep's Medow. It was unbelievably hot out, especially sitting on an open field with hundreds of people milling about. You notice the vast quantity of people more by the large population of recreational items flying through the air all at once. It almost looks like there is a flock of erratic birds flying through the air above you. Footballs, frisbees, tennis balls, baseballs, etc. It would be a great starting scene in a movie about new york city. There sure are a lot of people in one single place in one single park. When I watched the people moving around me I thought to myself that they all have a life just as important as mine. It makes the world seem pretty important, thinking about all of these people with lives out there. And I was just looking at a small percentage and it still seemed like a lot. I also thought to myself that in that one field, there stands more people than I am ever going to know in my life time. All of my lifetime. That changes the previous feeling of importance to the new found feeling of insignificancy. So many lives in one sheep's meadow. So many lives who my never now who I am. You don't really know many people in your life, you know, compared to how many people out there possible to know. Well, anyway I went back to the city the next day to go to my dad's client's fashion show. It was quite fun, I must say. I got free lip gloss! And I kept my VIP pass to get into the show with my name on it, and it is currently hanging around the neck of my sewing model Martha. She looks very ravishing in it. After the fashion show, I went to an Asian restaurant called Nooch. Yes, that is the end to my fashionable New York City weekend. So, I will properly announce it before I leave, as all announcements should be announced. The End.
